Stephen doesn't like to go home because his parent's don't read good books. "They just come home, and do their work in front of the TV." He went on vacation, tried to take them outside, and they just sat by their TV.
He doesn't like Explosions in the Sky: "Anyone could play them".
His art class is full of people with Anime desktop backgrounds, their own laptops, and bad posture.
He didn't touch his synthesizer for 6 months after he got it in the mail, but now he's thinking about quitting his job so he can have more time for creativity.

Natalie is tired of her roommate's drama. One just broke up with her boyfriend, but is now back together, again. In the middle of this the roommate quit smoking, then started, then quit again.
Rayanne is "back in the place where I sit on ledges and think about bad things for a long time. High ledges. We can get pregnancy tests together if you want."
